About Me

Angela LockettMy name is Angela Lockett and I’ve been working in learning and development for over 20 years. For 10 of those years, I’ve run my own company. Before that, I worked both as a Trainer and Training Manager for companies such as Abbey National, Legal & General and Wimpey Homes. Which means that I built quite a depth of experience in sales, customer service and management development, training design and delivery, as well as trainer development, before starting out on my own.

What have I been doing for the last 10 years? Well, I’ve worked with some great organisations (see Who I work with for more info), developing their people and processes, as well as continuing to develop my own skills and experience.

In addition to my own clients, I work as an associate for one or two larger organisations – this gives me the opportunity to be part of a team and become involved in different projects.

I’m based in Bedfordshire, in the U.K., but have worked with clients on an international basis over the last 9 years – Europe, Asia, the Gulf States and the United States.

I work primarily on a referrals basis, which means that if you’re looking at my website, you’ve probably heard of me through a colleague – please say thank you to them on my behalf!

  • I’m a Fellow of the Institute of Training and Occupational Learning (FITOL)
  • A Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (MCIPD)
  • I’m qualified and registered by the British Psychological Society in Psychometric Testing
  • A Master Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming
  • I’m qualified in the use and application of the Strength Deployment Inventory®
  • I’m been accredited in the use and application of Belbin team types
  • I’ve been trained in Accelerated Learning techniques and Language and Behaviour Profiling

I’m also an enthusiastic cook, a Glastonbury festival fan and a scuba diving addict – still trying to find a way to build these interests into one training programme!
